For Corridor8's issue no. 3.2 launch at S1 Artspace on 30 March 2012, Roger Luckhurst, professor of modern and contemporary literature at Birkbeck College, University of London, spoke for us on avant-garde literature. He revisited Richard Kostelanetz's seminal art and writing publication Breakthrough Fictioneers (1973), featured in no. 3.2, and reflected on the contemporary state of the aesthetic avant-garde.
